Hello, My name is Ricardo Alas
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to your organization.
I am often asked what was the defining moment that led me to dedicate my life to being an actor/model. Why did I choose to embark on such a tenuous, difficult journey when success, despite all efforts, is not guaranteed? I still don't have an answer; but I can say that I've enjoyed the journey and the self-discovery from the very first modeling job and I never looked back.
I come from a rather diverse and varied background. I offer a unique bilingual background, success in many professional endeavors, and a blend of maturity, flexibility, high energy, and the ability to learn quickly.
I have lived in many parts in New Jersey. Being exposed to so many new and different environments has taught me to easily adapt to new situations; and that's the best way to make new friends. And everyone likes a nice smile.
I graduated Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. I majored in Administration of Justice and Psychology, because I felt I should prepare for a "responsible" career. I worked at a Media Service to help pay my way through college. All the while, my thoughts turned to the finer arts - acting/modeling.
Hopefully my valuable qualities can simultaneously promote my own professional growth as well as contribute to the success of any organization, which I am affiliated, so that I may continue to achieve what most say to be the impossible.
